This place is a joke. It's just some rv spots crammed together on this tiny property. Absolutely no amenities at all. Which would be fine for a night or two, but the owner is a angry, rude, boomer. Not only a very aggressive and judgemental person but also will take advantage of you for financial gain. It was really ridiculous and sad. Definitely one of the worst rv campgrounds I've ever been to and I've stayed at hundreds.

Nice, quiet, small campground with a very nice and personable manager, Mike. If you are looking for amenities, this is not the campground for you, but if you are looking for clean, comfortable and quiet, give it a try.

This is long BUT PLS read all (We are full timers) We pulled into Town Mountain Tavel Park on Wed. Aug 11th. Mike the owner greeted us and even noticed my S/O wasn't feeling quite right so Mike helped me set up the camper. The next cpl days Mike checked in with us to see how S/O was doing. On Tues. Aug 17th (the day before we were to leave) my S/o was admitted to hospital. Mike came over asked if I needed anything and told me not to worry that he would help with whatever I needed. Aug 25th Mike informed me that he was booked over labor day weekend so I'd have to move. I explained to him S/O was still in hospital and I've never towed our travel trailer before. Mike jumped into action and said its ok ill move it. Mike moved it to the storage location for me. Even after we moved it out. Mike still calls to check on S/O as he's still in hospital. U WILL NOT FIND A BETTER TRAVEL PARK OWNER ANYWHERE. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Mike THANK U with all my heart. We will be staying here again for sure

We were about to give up at finding an RV park to stay. It was the start of Labor Day weekend and fortunately we called Town Mountain Travel Park. A friendly voice greeted us and gave us the good news that a spot had just become available. When we arrived the owner-manager, Mike, greeted us like old friends. He clearly is a people person and a dog lover … he and our little dog became fast friends and “Bear” learned that any time with Mike would include treats! Our RV is 42’ and we tow a Jeep, so some places we’ve stayed have been a challenge! But the site we had at Town Mountain was spacious both in length and width. The entire park is inviting, with lots of giant trees, grass and blooming shrubs. We’re full-timers and have encountered many parks that have been neglected. That is not the case at Town Mountain – it is very pleasant and well cared for. We found the location of Town Mountain to be convenient to everything from shopping to dining and yet there are beautiful country roads and apple orchards just moments away. If we ever have the opportunity to return to this area, we will certainly be sure to stay at Town Mountain Travel Park.

Great little spot in Hendersonville, NC. Stayed for 2 weeks in August and have no complaints. Mike is the park manager and is very friendly and genuinely helpful. It's close to downtown and a large number of NC mountain destinations. We highly recommend Town Mountain Travel Park.
